We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst / Para-Broker to take the lead on complex lending scenarios, help drive strong approval outcomes and grow with the business long-term.

What you'll be doing:

• Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and assessments across diverse lending applications
• Liaise with brokers, clients, lenders and external stakeholders to gather and validate financial information
• Structure lending solutions and prepare detailed credit reports with loan recommendations
• Assess borrower serviceability and determine suitability across complex income scenarios (PAYG, self-employed, trusts, investment)
• Assist with loan documentation preparation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and lender policies
• Stay up-to-date with changes in credit policies across the lender panel
• Provide clear communication to brokers and clients throughout the loan application and approval process

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience (3+ years) as a credit analyst or para-broker in the brokerage space
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and serviceability assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with brokers, clients and lenders
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple applications and competing deadlines
• Thorough understanding of mortgage industry regulations, compliance requirements and credit policy interpretation
• Cert IV in Financial Services - Mortgage Broking (or equivalent)
• Ability to confidently challenge brokers on missing information and work collaboratively to structure optimal outcomes
