About the role
The kitchen helper role at Guilin Garden Restaurant Pte. Ltd. offers a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. Based in the central and East Region, this position is essential for supporting the overall food preparation and service operations of the restaurants and outlets. We have 20 locations islandwide.
What you'll be doing
Assist the head chef and other kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace and equipment
Stock and restock kitchen supplies as needed
Follow food handling and safety protocols to maintain the highest standards of hygiene
Provide support to the kitchen team during peak service periods
Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
What we're looking for
Experience in a similar kitchen helper or food preparation role, preferably within the hospitality or catering industry
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Proficiency in the English language
