Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.

Perform patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and clinical status.

Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.

Recognize and respond promptly to patient deterioration and medical emergencies.

Assist physicians during bedside procedures and emergency interventions.

Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate holistic patient care.

Educate and support patients' families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations.

Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.

Participate in code blue responses, audits, continuing education, and departmental training programmes.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practising certificate.

Diploma or Degree in Nursing.

BCLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
