Our client is a well-regarded boutique family law firm with an established reputation and clients across the country, based in prestigious, traditional Sydney CBD offices. Led by a Director with well over a decade in family law, the firm handles the full scope of family law work, from property and parenting matters through to complex financial agreements.

They are looking for a senior Family Lawyer who can run their own files end to end, while collaborating closely with the Director and a Senior Associate on the firm's most complex matters.

About the role

The role covers the full scope of family law work, run end to end with genuine autonomy, while working closely with senior team members on the firm's more complex matters.

• Manage a caseload of family law files from instruction through to resolution
• Handle property settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements and consent orders
• Collaborate directly with the Director and Senior Associate on complex and high-value files
• Liaise directly with clients, building and managing your own client relationships
• Mentor and work alongside junior team members where relevant

Requirements :

• 5 or more years' post-admission experience in family law
• Current admission to practise as a solicitor in NSW (or eligibility for interstate mutual recognition)
• Demonstrated ability to run family law files end to end with minimal supervision
• Strong technical family law knowledge across property, parenting and financial agreement matters
• A collaborative approach, comfortable working closely with senior colleagues on complex matters
