INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINISTS | DAY SHIFT | SOUTH WEST SYDNEY

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer supplying high-quality seating and transport solutions across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Industrial Sewing Machinists to join their production team in Wetherill Park
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable employer that values quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork.
ABOUT THE ROLE
📍 Location: Wetherill Park location
💰 Pay Rate: $38-$42ph
⏰ Shift: Monday to Friday | Day Shift 7am start
📅 Employment Type: Casual Temp to perm
You will be responsible for producing quality upholstered seating components using industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating industrial sewing machines
- Sewing fabric, vinyl, and upholstery materials to specifications
- Reading and interpreting work instructions and production drawings
- Inspecting finished products to ensure high quality standards
- Meeting daily production targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Working collaboratively within a manufacturing team
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
✔ Previous experience as an Industrial Sewer, Sewing Machinist, or Upholsterer
✔ Experience working with industrial sewing machines
✔ Ability to work with fabric, vinyl, leather, or heavy-duty materials
✔ Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
✔ Reliable transport and strong attendance record
✔ Commitment to workplace safety
