About the business

This is a sustainability-led engineering consultancy with offices across Australia, the UK, Europe, South America and the Middle East.

The Brisbane office is one of the newest in the network, sitting at around 50 people. And it's growing, off the back of a serious pipeline of healthcare and education work coming into the QLD market.

You'd be joining a business behind projects like the QLD Health Hospital expansion, High Rise Commercial Towers, Data Centres, and Universities. Backing from a global parent group means access to tier 1 scale projects that a business this size wouldn't normally get near.

On culture, over 40% of leadership positions are held by women. There's a paternity policy that competes with any tier 1, plus childcare allowances across the board. Hybrid and flexible working is standard, not something you have to fight for.

What you'll be doing

Brisbane is bottom heavy right now. Plenty of doers, not enough people at the top. That's the gap you're filling.

You'll be client facing, focused on winning work and building relationships with architects, developers and head contractors across healthcare and education. You won't be dragged back into day to day project delivery, that's not what this seat is for.

You won't inherit a team on day one. But if managing people is something you want, that conversation is open within a few months, depending on how you settle in.

You'll sit alongside a couple of other ADs in the business, trusted as a safe pair of hands who's done this before, not someone still finding their feet in the seat.

What you'll need

• A track record of winning and delivering work at Associate level and above in building services
• Genuine comfort being client facing, this is a BD seat first and foremost
• Healthcare or education sector experience is a nice to have, not a deal breaker
