Are you a skilled Database Designer who thrives in complex cloud environments and enjoys solving large-scale data challenges?

We're looking for an experienced professional to join a collaborative technology team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise-grade database platforms that underpin critical business services. You'll play a key role in designing, building and maintaining modern database solutions across SQL Server and AWS Aurora/PostgreSQL environments, while helping shape best practices in cloud, automation and DevOps.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and support enterprise database platforms and environments.
• Work across the full database lifecycle, from solution design through to deployment, optimisation and ongoing support.
• Manage and enhance cloud-hosted database solutions across AWS.
• Drive automation, deployment and CI/CD initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and scalable outcomes.
• Troubleshoot performance, deployment and operational issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience with:

• AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL
• SQL Server 2022+
• MongoDB Atlas

Technical expertise in:

• AWS Cloud Services
• Environment & Platform Management
• DevOps and CI/CD
• IAM and Security Controls
• CloudWatch Monitoring
• EC2 and Serverless Technologies
• Scripting and Automation

Plus experience with:

• Azure DevOps
• Git repositories and branch governance
• Pipeline management (Classic & YAML)
• Change control and release governance
• Agile, Scrum and ITIL environments
