Are you an experienced Senior Security Technician looking for a role where you can take ownership of projects from installation through to commissioning, while still getting involved with service and technical support when required?

We're partnering with a highly respected national security integrator that continues to secure major commercial and government projects across Sydney. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a technically strong Senior Technician who enjoys delivering quality installations, commissioning enterprise systems and supporting customers with ongoing service.

💼 The Role

This position is primarily focused on the installation and commissioning of enterprise electronic security systems across commercial, government and critical infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with Project Managers and fellow technicians to deliver projects from first fix through to final commissioning and client handover, while also providing service, maintenance and technical support as required.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Install enterprise electronic security systems across commercial projects.
• Commission and configure Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Detection systems.
• Program and test Integrated Security platforms.
• Carry out system upgrades and expansion works.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults during installation and commissioning.
• Attend service calls and complete preventative maintenance when required.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and project documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, builders, subcontractors and clients.
• Complete testing, quality assurance and project handovers.
• Maintain accurate commissioning records and service documentation.

✅ About You

To be successful in this role you'll ideally possess:

• Demonstrated experience installing and commissioning commercial electronic security systems.
• Current Inner Range Integriti Certification (essential).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise Access Control and CCTV platforms.
• Experience carrying projects through from installation to commissioning and client handover.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to complete service and maintenance work when required.
• Current NSW Security Licence.
• Open Cabling Registration.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Professional communication skills and strong customer focus.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a project team.
