Storeman/Forklift driver required for role in Ringwood
Your new company
We are currently seeking an experienced 5 Tonne Counter Balance Forklift Operator / Storeperson to join a busy and well-established operation for a 2 - 3 month assignment. This role will involve operating a 5 tonne forklift as well as assisting with a range of warehouse and storeperson duties to support daily operations.
Your new role
- Operating a 5 tonne forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving and storing large, bulky products
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving and checking incoming goods
- Stock control and inventory management
- General warehouse housekeeping
- Assisting with other storeperson duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Proven experience operating a 5 tonne forklift or larger
- Previous storeperson or warehouse experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
What you'll get in return
