Nambour RSL Club offers a wonderful opportunity for a casual CHEFs (approx 30 hours per week) to assist our Catering team and pursue their passion for creative cuisine.

This role requires a highly capable, self-motivated person with experience in a busy venue. Our catering outlets include-

Altro Cafe - modern all-day dining and the finest barista-made espressos

Mosaic Kitchen & Bar - modern, high quality meals provided for lunch and dinner service

Functions- we provide meals for over 200 people in our events room

The successful candidate applicant will have:

Completed Certificate 3 in Commercial cookery and have extensive restaurant cooking experience or experienced Chef

Excellent hygiene and personal presentation

Drive and ambition

Ability to work and supervise confidently in all sections of the kitchen

Strong communication and time management skills

Experience in fast-paced al a carte dining

Passion for cooking consistent quality food
