Fetch Recruitment is looking for dedicated and reliable Ticketed Traffic Controllers for an exciting university event starting in the middle of July. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and traffic control.

This role will involve some shorter shifts (4 hours) so may suit students or hospitality workers!

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Traffic Flow: Efficiently manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around the university campus, ensuring safety and minimizing congestion.
• Monitor Parking Areas: Guide vehicles to appropriate parking spaces and assist attendees with parking.
• Crowd Control: Help direct crowds at event entry points and exits to avoid bottlenecks and ensure smooth movement.
• Safety Management: Proactively identify hazards and assist in maintaining a safe environment for both vehicles and pedestrians.
• Communication: Coordinate with event organizers and security to address any issues that may arise, and provide clear instructions to attendees.

Key Requirements:

• Traffic Tickets: TC1 - MANDATORY
• Previous Experience: 3+ months experience required, suitable for someone starting out in traffic.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise directions to the public and work as part of a team
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring all traffic safety procedures are followed correctly.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy, high-traffic environment.
• Professional Appearance: Dress code to be followed as per event requirements.
