Candidates should be familiar with popular online novel/drama trends and will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our diverse range of publications.

About the role (Short Drama Scriptwriter/Director):

Script Writing: Write engaging and market-oriented episode scripts for short dramas.

Content Editing & Proofreading: Proofread and edit English content to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, emotional clarity, and consistency with team standards.

Creativity & Flexibility: Catch the inspiration and core charm of the original book and transfer it with more colorful plots into a more eye-catching short drama.

Script Polishing & Basic Feedback: Review episode scripts and provide clear, practical editorial feedback focused on plot setting, twists, and storyline.

Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with other editors and content team members on content strategy and special projects.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content checks and audits to maintain editorial quality and uphold platform guidelines.

About the role (Novel Editor):

Content Editing & Proofreading: Proofread and edit English content to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, emotional clarity, and consistency with platform standards.

Manuscript Review & Basic Feedback: Review manuscripts and provide clear, practical editorial feedback focused on readability, pacing, and story clarity.

Book Advertisement Copywriting: Write engaging and market-oriented promotional copy for online novels, to be used with images or videos on social media platforms.

Author Communication & Coordination: Communicate with authors in a professional, patient, and empathetic manner, helping them improve story structure, pacing, and reader appeal.

Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with other editors and content team members on content strategy, optimization, and special projects.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content checks and audits to maintain editorial quality and uphold platform guidelines.

Requirements:

Familiarity with online short dramas, online web novels, and online fiction platforms

Bachelor's degree (preferred but not necessary) or above, with majors in English, Journalism, or related fields

Native or near-native English proficiency

Have a strong sense of responsibility, pay attention to details, and possess excellent time management and project management skills

Be an effective communicator and able to build good relationships with authors

Having excellent Chinese reading and writing skills is an added advantage.
