Role Purpose

As an Operations Control Assistant, you will work closely with the Lead Operations Controller to oversee daily delivery workflows, support our fleet of drivers, and ensure high levels of service reliability. You will act as the nerve center of our day-to-day activities, turning logistical challenges into smooth operations.

What You’ll Do

Operational Monitoring: Help monitor real-time delivery progress, fleet movements, and tracking systems to ensure timely fulfillment.

Route & Schedule Support: Assist in planning, adjusting, and optimizing daily delivery routes and driver assignments to maximize fleet efficiency.

Driver Coordination: Act as a main point of contact for drivers on the road, providing prompt troubleshooting support for any delays, traffic issues, or delivery bottlenecks.

Documentation & Data Integrity: Ensure accurate and timely logging of operational data, delivery statuses, and driver trip logs in our system.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with customer service, warehousing, and management teams to swiftly resolve customer complaints or delivery discrepancies.

Reporting: Assist in compiling daily and weekly operational performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Prior experience in logistics operations, fleet management, dispatching, or transport coordination is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern routing systems & GPS tracking platforms.

Skills: Strong organizational capabilities, sharp problem-solving instincts, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct and motivate ground staff and drivers.

Adaptability: A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules in a fast-paced environment.
