About the Role
Halliburton is expanding its business to support the rapid growth of hyperscale data centers, AI infrastructure, and large-scale industrial power projects.
In this role you will lead permitting execution, construction-phase regulatory compliance, and code alignment for large-scale power generation projects (100 MW to multi-GW) across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
The successful candidate will ensure that projects can be legally constructed, safely executed, and fully compliant with all applicable codes and regulatory frameworks, while also influencing early-stage design to avoid delays during project execution.
This position reports globally to the Senior Director of our new Power Generation division and will be based at Jandakot, Western Australia. It is expected that this role will require local and international travel for at least 30% of your time.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead construction permitting strategy
· Manage code compliance
· Support project execution and construction readiness
· Provide advice on health and safety compliance
· Influence early project development
· Manage regulatory and authority interfaces
· Drive risk management and project certainty
Role Requirements
· 10+ years of experience in regulatory & code compliance for energy or industrial projects
· Experience with large-scale power generation projects (100 MW or greater)
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and fuel handling systems
· Familiarity with construction and safety regulatory frameworks
· Experience supporting EPC execution and construction-phase compliance
· Demonstrated experience working with regulatory authorities and inspection bodies
· Ability to operate across both technical and construction execution environments
