DRONES180, part of the Rencon Group, is seeking a capable and motivated DJI AGRAS Pilot to join our team operating from our Colac base.

This is a hands-on field position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating advanced drone technology and being part of a practical, adaptable team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating DJI AGRAS T50 drones for aerial spraying and fertiliser applications

Completing pre-flight planning, risk assessments and equipment checks

Setting up, cleaning and maintaining aircraft and supporting equipment

Maintaining accurate flight, chemical and operational records

Learning to operate non-AGRAS enterprise drones across other services

Operating 4x4 vehicles in rural and field environments

Assisting with general land-management and field work when drone operations are affected by weather or workflow

This is not a flying-only position. Applicants must be willing to assist with other operational and field-based work during periods when drone flying is unavailable.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

A minimum Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)

A DJI AGRAS T50 rating

A current ChemCert or equivalent recognised chemical-user qualification

Practical 4x4 driving experience

A strong safety focus

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability to undertake non-drone field work when required

A home base within the greater Colac area

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Previous DJI AGRAS spraying or fertiliser-application experience

Agricultural, forestry, environmental or land-management experience

Experience operating other DJI Enterprise aircraft

Previous AGRAS spraying or fertilising experience is highly regarded; however, it is not essential for the right person who holds the required qualifications and demonstrates the right attitude.
