About the Position

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to take ownership of structural design projects from concept through to completion. Working within a fast-paced project environment, you will be responsible for analysing existing structures, developing new designs, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse existing communication structures, including towers, masts, and monopoles

Design new steel and concrete structures, foundations, and associated components

Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation

Review structural drawings and work closely with drafting teams

Liaise with project managers and clients to deliver engineering outcomes

Assist with project quotations and technical proposals

Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements

Support compliance with quality, safety, and environmental systems

Skills and Experience Required

Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience in structural steel and concrete design

Exposure to telecommunications, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects

Working knowledge of Australian Standards

Experience preparing engineering calculations and reports

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Experience with SpaceGass or similar structural analysis software

AutoCAD experience (desirable)

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
