About us
Trigger Group has been working across Melbourne and the South East since 2012. Solar and batteries, heat pump hot water, air conditioning, EV chargers and whole-home water filtration. There's about 20 of us, based in Pakenham.
The work is steady and it's varied — you won't be doing the same job twice in a row, and there's enough volume to keep the yard busy year round. Having licensed electricians and plumbers under the one roof (REC 36222 and BPC 50819) means we're not standing around waiting on another trade to turn up and finish a job.
The role
Full-time A-Grade Electrician, based out of our Pakenham yard, working across Melbourne's South East.
Day to day you'll be:
Wiring hot water heat pumps
Installing split system air conditioning
Working on battery and solar installs alongside our SAA-accredited team
Switchboard and sub-board upgrades
EV charger installs and general residential electrical work
Running jobs with an apprentice, and working in alongside our plumbers
What you'll need
Essential:
A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
Current driver's licence
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
You turn up, you do the job properly, and you talk to customers like a professional
Highly regarded — these put you straight to the front of the queue:
ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence — RSS03 (restricted split system) or full RAC01. This is what lets you take on our split system air conditioning work, so it's the big one.
SAA accreditation — Grid Connected PV and/or Grid Connected Battery Storage
VEU or Solar Victoria program experience
Experience with hybrid inverters and battery systems
What we're offering
$95,000 – $115,000 plus super, depending on experience and tickets
