Working alongside our Chief Buyer and a passionate team, you'll play a key role in helping deliver innovative toy and discovery product ranges to customers across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your buying experience in a creative, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the buying and product development process from concept through to delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

Liaising with local and international suppliers

Analysing sales performance and inventory levels

Assisting with forecasting and predictive ordering

Coordinating and managing purchase orders

Supporting product development initiatives

Assisting our graphic design team with product and catalogue requirements

Coordinating catalogue distribution

Managing Open-to-Buy reporting

Maintaining shipping and import documentation

Managing and organising product samples

Ensuring all records and documentation are accurate and up to date

Providing administrative support to the Chief Buyer

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in a buying or assistant buying role is a benefit

Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammar

High levels of accuracy and confidence working with numbers

The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills

Fluency in Cantonese (preferred but not essential)
