About the role

Retirement Planning Partners is seeking an Associate Adviser/Paraplanner to join our team on a short term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in financial planning whilst working within a wholistic financial planning firm that specialises in retirement and strategic planning. Based in Robina, QLD, this role offers the chance to support financial advisers in delivering high-quality planning services to our valued clients. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between client needs and comprehensive financial solutions, contributing directly to the success of our advisory team.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed financial plans and planning recommendations under the guidance of senior advisers

Conduct research and analysis on investment options, superannuation strategies, and retirement planning solutions

Review and quality assure financial planning documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

Support the preparation of Statement of Advice documents and other compliance-related paperwork

Assist with ongoing client servicing and annual review preparation

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary or diploma qualifications in Financial planning or equivalent

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and financial planning software including Xplan

Understanding of superannuation, taxation and retirement planning concepts

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Experience in financial services or planning is essential
