Linehaul Allocator / Operations Coordinator

$90,000–$120,000 + Super (depending on experience)

Inov8ive is a fast-growing national transport company specialising in interstate full truckload (FTL), palletised freight and metro distribution across Australia.

We’re looking for an experienced Linehaul Allocator to take ownership of our interstate operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving logistics problems, and knows how to keep freight moving. You will be responsible for coordinating interstate movements across Australia while managing a large network of transport partners.

Your day will include:

Allocating interstate FTL freight

Negotiating rates with carriers

Building and maintaining strong carrier relationships

Monitoring freight from pickup through to delivery

Managing delays and customer communication

Maximising vehicle utilisation and profitability

Working closely with customers, drivers and the operations team

Ensuring service levels are maintained across all interstate movements

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years’ experience in transport operations or linehaul allocation

Strong knowledge of Australian interstate freight networks

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to think quickly and solve problems under pressure

Outstanding organisational skills

High attention to detail

Excellent phone manner and communication

Strong computer skills

Experience using TMS software (TransVirtual, MachShip or similar advantageous)
