Web Developer

SYAILA PTY LTD is seeking a full-time Web Developer to design, develop and maintain websites and web applications for our aged care, healthcare and technology businesses.

The role will support SYAILA’s CareAI and Careslink platforms, including the development of personalized provider profiles and websites for small and independent care providers. You will also contribute to website projects for aged care organizations, service professionals and other business clients.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain responsive websites and web applications.

Build personalized provider profile pages, reusable templates and configurable website components.

Develop front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and relevant frameworks.

Develop and maintain back-end functionality, databases and APIs.

Integrate websites with CRM, referral, notification, authentication and analytics systems.

Configure and customize content management systems, themes, templates and website modules.

Develop online forms, customer portals, provider onboarding and referral workflows.

Conduct functional, compatibility, accessibility and performance testing.

Troubleshoot website issues and implement security, performance and usability improvements.

Manage website deployment, domains, SSL certificates, version control, backups and maintenance.

Prepare technical documentation and provide ongoing support for internal and client websites.

Skills and experience

Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or a related field.

Professional experience developing and maintaining websites or web applications.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive web design.

Experience with front-end frameworks, back-end development and relational databases.

Experience with REST APIs, Git, content management systems and website deployment.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, application security and performance optimization.

Strong problem-solving, communication and time-management skills.

Experience in aged care, healthcare, SaaS platforms or customer portal development will be highly regarded.
