A growing landscaping and maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role offering a mix of team supervision and practical garden maintenance work across a variety of sites.

Your new role

Leading a small crew, you will be responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll provide guidance to team members, maintain quality outcomes and assist with a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks.

Key duties include:

• Leading and supporting garden maintenance crews
• Mowing, hedging, pruning, weeding and mulching
• Monitoring plant health and site presentation
• Conducting safety checks and hazard identification
• Mentoring and training team members
• Communicating with clients and site stakeholders
• Ensuring work is completed to required standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in garden or grounds maintenance
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Current driver's licence, White card, Asbestos, Silica required
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
• Certificate III in Horticulture or similar qualification (desirable)
