Landscape Construction Team Leader
ELM is a rapidly growing commercial landscape maintenance and construction company servicing some of Perth's leading residential developers, local governments and commercial clients.
We're looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Team Leader to lead a crew delivering high-quality landscape projects across the Perth metropolitan area.
This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your time on the tools while leading your team and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About the Role
Our construction division focuses primarily on soft landscaping, including:
Advanced tree, shrub and groundcover planting
Turf installation
Mulch installation
Irrigation and reticulation installation and repairs
Garden establishment works
Site preparation and soil improvement
You'll also undertake occasional hardscape works such as:
Timber edging
Minor paving repairs
Small retaining walls
Park furniture and fixture installation
Other landscape improvement works
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a small construction crew
Read and interpret landscape plans and specifications
Deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard
Organise materials, equipment and daily site activities
Communicate with supervisors and clients professionally
Complete site documentation and quality checks
Maintain plant, equipment and vehicles
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental requirements
About You
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience leading landscape construction crews
Strong knowledge of soft landscaping practices
Experience installing irrigation systems
Ability to read landscape plans
Excellent organisation and communication skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
White Card
Current manual driver's licence (essential)
MR licence and machinery experience highly regarded
Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (preferred but not essential)
