About the Role

Ganaji Contracting is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to support major Oil & Gas and Process Plant construction projects in Karratha, WA.

These FIFO 3:1 opportunities are suited to trade-qualified Pipe Fitters with strong experience in heavy industrial construction, including pipe spool fabrication, mechanical fit-up, flange management and installation of process piping systems.

Project Overview

Roster: 3:1

Location: Karratha, WA

Employment type: Full time (Project work)

Hours: Approx. 70 hours per week (Monday-Saturday: 6:00am-4:30pm (10-hour days), Sunday: 8 hours)

Mobilisation: Immediate

Duration: 12-18 months

Karratha Local: DIDO available for Karratha residents only

RDO: 1 per swing

Breaks: Paid break applies when working over 10 hours

Key Responsibilities & Experience

Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship Pipe Fitting experience

Proven experience within heavy industrial construction, Oil & Gas, LNG, mining or process plant environments

Pipe spool fabrication, fit-up and installation

Reading and interpreting isometric and spool drawings

Installing process piping, valves, supports and associated equipment

Performing mechanical fit-up, flange management and bolt tensioning

Supporting hydrotesting and pressure testing activities

Working collaboratively with welding, rigging and mechanical teams

Maintaining high safety, quality and productivity standards

Tickets and Qualifications

Full Australian working rights

Passport

Drivers Licence

Trade qualification as a Pipe Fitter

Construction White Card / Blue Card

Working at Heights

Confined Space

Gas Test Atmospheres

EWP or other high-risk work licences highly regarded

First Aid

Proof of WA residence

Must be currently based in Western Australia
