As a Perth-based Maintenance Planner, your day to day will be assisting sites with urgent orders, scheduling changes around mining requirements and analysing machine downtime data. Assisting with parts ordering for breakdown’s of machinery, while also driving process optimisation to streamline maintenance activities and ensure operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for underground equipment
• Manage all maintenance planning activities in Pronto Xi, including work order creation, assignment, and close-out
• Prioritise work based on equipment criticality, production requirements, and safety risk
• Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain team to ensure parts, materials, tools, and labour are available before jobs are scheduled
• Work closely with maintenance supervisors, tradespeople, and operations to align schedules and resolve resourcing conflicts
• Provide technical support to site teams and ensure compliance with all relevant Westfill and statutory safety requirements
• Analyse downtime, failure trends, and maintenance data to identify opportunities for reliability improvement
• Manage condition monitoring and proactive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned breakdowns
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with DEMIRS guidelines and Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations (WA)
• Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and statutory inspections
• Manage all asset life cycles
• Site based trips from time to time

What you'll need

• Trade qualification (mechanical or electrical) or engineering background
• Demonstrated experience with underground mining equipment
• Practical experience with CMMS platforms, Pronto Xi essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
• A genuine safety-first mindset
• WA-based (essential)
