We have an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Change Coordinator to join our residential Breathing Space Men’s Behaviour Change Program.

The Role

As the Behaviour Change Coordinator, you will lead a team delivering a residential Men's Behaviour Change Program, supporting men to address the use of violence and abuse in their relationships while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality services.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinate staffing requirements and program delivery.

Lead and support Behaviour Change Facilitators in the delivery of men's behaviour change group programs.

Contribute to risk assessments, safety planning, case management, and report writing.

Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide support to clients experiencing crisis or emotional distress, helping them develop strategies to manage challenging emotions and behaviours.

This is a permanent full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight and located in Calista. This is a 24/7 residential setting, therefore late shift work and on-call availability will occasionally be required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Relevant qualifications in Human Services (or similar) and/or demonstrated experience in behaviour change, FDVA, AOD, Mental Health, Corrections, or a related field.

Experience facilitating groups and leading service delivery teams, including staff supervision and coaching.

Strong skills in risk assessment, safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, and client advocacy.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills across diverse client groups and service providers.

Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain quality documentation and reporting.

Cultural competency and the ability to effectively engage with people from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and people with disability.

Current National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain), Department of Justice Clearance eligibility, and a current Driver's Licence.
