An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Integration Technician to join a pioneering Australian technology business developing next-generation software-defined electrical vehicle platforms.

Working at the intersection of electrical engineering, software, automation and vehicle technology, you'll play a hands-on role in building, integrating, testing and commissioning advanced electrical vehicles that are helping redefine the future of mobility.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team where technicians work side-by-side with engineers, software developers and technical specialists to bring cutting-edge vehicle technology to life.

Your new role

  • Participate in the development and integration of advanced software-driven electric vehicle systems.
  • Perform hands-on electrical and electronic assembly, wiring and installation activities.
  • Build, route and terminate complex vehicle wiring harnesses.
  • Conduct electrical testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist with vehicle commissioning, debugging and validation.
  • Support integration of electrical, electronic and control systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Software Engineering teams.
  • Assist with prototype vehicle builds and continuous product improvement initiatives.
  • Interpret schematics, diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving activities during vehicle development.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A diploma, degree or Associate Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation, or similar experience
  • Experience working with electrical, automation or control systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Exposure to PLCs, CANbus, SCADA, instrumentation or automation systems is advantageous.
  • Passion for emerging technologies, automation, robotics, electric vehicles or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
