Key Responsibilities:

1) Contract Management & Drafting

· Independently draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor contracts and service agreements

· Prepare written communications and office documents, prepare legal document execution, keep templates and records updated, and support other internal legal processes.

2) Direct Stakeholder Engagement:

· Partner directly with internal stakeholders, managers to understand commercial needs, translate them into legal terms and provide legal advice.

3) Legal Advisory

· Provide day to day legal support to keep operations running smoothly and compliantly.

· Spot potential operational or legal risks in non-standard contract clauses and escalate them to Senior Legal Counsel with recommended solutions.

· Support on corporate transactional mattes (including share transfer and corporate secretarial items.)

4) Cross Functional & Business Support

· Act as an legal point of contract for departments on day to day legal queries.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Qualified lawyer / holder of law degree with 3-5 years of experiences (in house or law firm)

· Proven ability to draft, review and independently negotiate routine and mid level contracts

· Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and build strong working relationships with non legal business managers

· Competent in spoken and written English and Chinese, Mandarin

· Confident working independently with minimal supervision
