About Us

Novaflux Media is a digital marketing and creative agency helping businesses grow through strategy, content, performance marketing, and digital experiences.

We work with brands across a range of industries to create content that is engaging, purposeful, and built for the platforms where their audiences spend their time.

As we grow our creative team, we are looking for a skilled and dependable Video Editor to support our video production and content projects.

The Role

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for turning raw footage into polished, engaging content for our clients and Novaflux Media.

You will work across a variety of formats, including short-form social content, advertisements, interviews, corporate videos, branded content, and long-form productions. Beyond editing, you will also be responsible for maintaining organised and reliable post-production workflows, including footage ingestion, proxy creation, media management, backups, and delivery.

You will work closely with our videographers, creative team, and project stakeholders to bring concepts from raw footage through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Edit video content for social media, digital advertising, websites, campaigns, corporate communications, and other client requirements.

Produce both short-form and long-form content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

Review, organise, ingest, and manage footage from shoots before beginning post-production.

Work with footage captured in formats including Nikon ZR R3D NE, N-Log, H.264, and H.265.

Perform basic colour correction and grading, including preparing footage for Rec.709 delivery.

Perform basic audio editing, mixing, clean-up, levelling, and syncing.

Create and manage proxy workflows for high-resolution and RAW footage where required.

Handle 4K and RAW post-production workflows efficiently.

Maintain organised project files, folder structures, naming conventions, media libraries, and archives.

Manage footage backups and ensure production data is handled safely throughout the post-production process.

Prepare and export videos according to the appropriate platform specifications, codecs, aspect ratios, resolutions, and delivery requirements.

Incorporate subtitles, captions, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and other creative elements where required.

Implement internal and client feedback accurately while maintaining consistency across revisions.

Work closely with videographers and other creative team members to maintain continuity between production and post-production.

Support on-location data wrangling, footage transfer, media management, and backups when required.

Ensure projects are completed according to agreed timelines and production schedules.

What We're Looking For

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent professional editing software.

Comfortable working with Nikon ZR R3D NE, N-Log, H.264, and H.265 footage.

Comfortable working with 4K, RAW, and proxy-based editing workflows.

Able to manage large amounts of footage and maintain organised project and media structures.

Good understanding of data wrangling, media management, backups, and file integrity.

Strong attention to detail and able to identify technical or creative issues before final delivery.

Able to manage multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines in an organised manner.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a creative and production team.

Open to feedback and able to translate creative direction into effective edits.

Familiar with the requirements and conventions of different social and digital platforms.
