Responsibilities:
Assist Team Head to grow APAC Institutional and Intermediary business
Pro-active engagement and build good rapport with key institutional clients
Provide all round trade execution services on global equity markets through Bloomberg EMSX, GL and various proprietary trading systems.
Work closely with counterparties and back office on account related, post trade settlement and corporate action matters
Provide equity trading ideas and market colours
Actively implementing ideas and process changes to improve the whole trade life cycle
Requirements:
Degree in any relevant discipline
Certifications in CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A will be advantageous
Prior background in serving buy-side and/or sell-side clients preferred
Good knowledge in equity markets and various trading systems
Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, meticulous, team player, able to work under pressure
Proficiency in Excel preferred
Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken (in order to liaise with Chinese clients)
Required to work on selected public holidays
Able and willing to travel on short overseas trips when required
