About the role
Lead the daily operations of a large-scale cropping and export hay enterprise near Merredin. Reporting to the owner, you will coordinate people, contractors, machinery and seasonal programs while helping build a capable and consistent team.

Duties

• Plan daily, weekly and seasonal farm operations
• Lead staff through seeding, spraying, hay and harvest
• Coordinate contractors, transport and machinery maintenance
• Operate and troubleshoot modern broadacre machinery
• Maintain safe systems and communicate progress to the owner

Skills & experience

• Broadacre cropping experience, ideally including hay or straw
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience coordinating staff, contractors or seasonal teams
• HR licence and capacity to upgrade to an MC licence
• Chemical handling certification, or capacity to obtain it
