Fresh Catering and Events is an expanding catering business / production kitchen that incorporates supply to cafes, corporate catering, events and restaurant style home meals for distribution within its repertoire.
We are looking to employ an experienced Chef de Partie that can support with the ongoing development of our business and continue to offer a level of quality and responsiveness to our clients that is unmatched. Hospitality is, at its core, about service to people. Food and beverage play an essential supporting role of course, but without the love of people working in the industry what would there really be.
We understand this vital equation and make it our responsibility to keep this front and centre.
The catering kitchen is predominantly open Monday to Friday with timings that support the early delivery of breakfast meetings to later finishes with dinner meetings. There can be events on weekends these will be organised into the roster.
Assist senior chefs with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, utilising your skills and experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section and team operates to optimum efficiency by organising, supporting and coaching the team to Fresh Catering and Events standards. You will be a passionate and a highly energetic hospitality professional.
Ideal Candidate Must Have:
Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium, a-la-carte restaurant or catering setting
Clear and accurate communication
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown, and handover to standard
Knowledge and ability to use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
Calm and composed demeanour
Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
REQUIREMENTS
Full working rights in Australia (Full Time).
Relevant culinary qualifications, evidence of extensive kitchen experience and reliable references.
Reliable and timely commute to Osborne Park, WA.
