Job Duties:
Active Configuration: Deploy and configure VLANs, Static/Dynamic Routing, and Link Aggregation across Cisco and non-Cisco hardware
irewall Policy Management: Regularly update and audit firewall rules on Fortinet (FortiGate), Palo Alto, or Checkpoint to meet security requirements
VPN Support: Build and troubleshoot Site-to-Site IPsec tunnels and Client VPNs (GlobalProtect/FortiClient)
Network Monitoring: Use tools (SNMP/Syslog) to identify bottlenecks or hardware failures before they impact the business
Vendor Interoperability: Ensure seamless traffic flow between different hardware brands (Cisco core switch talking to a Fortinet gateway etc)
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in IT studies
CCNA certification will be plus
1-2 year(s) of related experience
Networking and product knowledge
Good analytical ability
