We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accountant to join our dynamic team at Azar Labour Hire in Adelaide, South Australia. As a full-time Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing accounting and finance functions.

Azar Labour hire manages the accounts across three companies:

Fidens Disability Company

Fidens Aged Care Company

Steadfast Solar

Power Hub Electrical

Azar Labour hire handles the financial side of the businesses, making sure records are accurate, processes are efficient, and everything stays on track. It’s a key role that supports each company’s day-to-day operations and ongoing growth.

What you'll be doing

Payroll

Accounts payable & receivable

Bank reconciliations

Reporting

Data entry and financial record keeping

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Performing account reconciliations, data analysis, and reporting

Providing support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

Participating in the month-end close process and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Assisting with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and insightful financial information

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (XERO, ZOHO and Microsoft Excel)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
