HR and HC Crane Truck Operator

Are you an experienced delivery driver looking for consistent hours, early starts, and a team that values what you do? Our client is looking for HR and HCCrane Truck Operators to join our growing operations in Cavan, SA.

This position is ideal for professional drivers who have experience with crane trucks, construction site deliveries, and transport operations, and who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and professionally.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:

• Delivering general freight to commercial and residential construction sites
• Local metropolitan and regional South Australian deliveries
• Safe operation of HR and HC truck and crane equipment
• Loading and unloading freight, including manual handling where required
• Operating tailgates, forklifts, Moffetts, and crane equipment (where licensed)
• Ensuring load restraint compliance and transport safety standards
• Providing professional customer service at delivery locations
• Adhering to all road transport, fatigue management, and workplace safety requirements

What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements

• Current HC Truck Licence and HR licence
• Proven experience operating HC crane trucks
• Experience delivering to commercial and construction sites
• Strong understanding of load restraint requirements
• Good driving history and safety record
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts

Highly Desirable

• Valid HR & HC license
• HC crane truck experience
• Long-load transport experience
• Recent National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to successfully complete Drug & Alcohol testing
• Forklift license (Desirable)

• Above award hourly rates
• Rates starting from $34.00 per hour, with experienced crane operators earning up to $45.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Full-time permanent employment
• Guaranteed ongoing work (minimum 40 hours per week)
