About the role

Techno Fibre (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Accounts & Admin Executive to join our finance team in a full-time capacity. Based in the Jurong East West Region, this role is pivotal in maintaining the financial and administrative operations of our organisation. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions and administrative tasks that support the smooth running of our business. This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in bookkeeping and small practice accounting whilst contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of our financial records.

Key responsibilities

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and accounts payable

Processing invoices, expense claims and payment documentation in a timely manner

Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and accounting reports

Managing general ledger accounts and ensuring proper classification of transactions

Supporting payroll administration and processing of employee-related financial matters

Performing month-end and year-end closing procedures

Handling administrative duties including filing, documentation and record keeping

Liaising with external auditors and tax consultants as required

Assisting with budget tracking and cost control initiatives

What we're looking for

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

Meticulous attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills

Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Reliability and a professional approach to confidential financial information

Professional certification such as accounting technician qualifications would be advantageous
