Protech are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to perform work with one of our leading local clients.
This position is a long term opportunity, based in a precast concreting yard

Must be a Darwin resident

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Monday to Friday
• Up to 50 hours per week available
• Penalties applied
• Long term opportunity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance, servicing and repair of plant and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out breakdown repairs
• Mechanical installation of moving parts and machinery
• Fabrication of steel moulds
• Welding and structural steel work, including fabrication and repairs
• Repair and maintenance of damaged or distorted steel moulds and formwork

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
• Similar experience working in heavy industry
• Own transport and driver's licence
• Must pass drug and alcohol test and pre employment medical
