About the role
The Kindergarten Care Hygiene Officer plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment that supports the health and well-being of both children and staff. Working closely with the Kindergarten Care team, you will ensure that the centre consistently meets cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards while creating a welcoming environment for children to learn and grow.
Key responsibilities
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Kindergarten Care Centre, including classrooms, activity areas, pantry, toilets, and common areas.
Assist in the preparation, serving, and cleaning up of meals and snacks while adhering to food hygiene and safety practices.
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure rubbish collection areas are clean and organised.
Comply with all workplace safety, health, and organisational policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Centre Head or Management.
Requirements
Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety procedures.
Able to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Enjoys working in a child-friendly environment and contributes positively to the centre's daily operations.
