About the Company:

We are partnering with a large, well-established global organisation located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. With a strong reputation and supportive team culture, they are looking for an experienced payroll professional to join their close-knit HR team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working within a detailed and complex payroll environment and has strong experience across payroll tax, reconciliations and month-end processes.

About the Role:

Utilising your payroll knowledge, you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing
• Payroll tax lodgements and annual reconciliations
• Preparing payroll journals for end-of-month
• Processing manual calculations including bonuses, adjustments and ad hoc payments
• WorkCover administration and FBT processing
• Providing payroll-related support during audits
• Assisting with invoicing and general HR administration
• Working closely with HR, Finance and key stakeholders across the business

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years' experience in a similar end-to-end payroll role
• Strong understanding of payroll tax and payroll journals
• Experience working within a complex payroll environment
• Exposure to expatriate or international payroll will be highly regarded
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
