Materials Coordinator | FIFO 2:2 Roster | Perth, WA

With a strong commitment to sustainability, operational excellence and innovation, we're seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to support a major FIFO project in Western Australia.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Materials Coordinator to join our Projects team. This role is a casual role on a FIFO roster of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, departing from Perth, WA.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working closely with the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of materials required to support site operations. Your ability to maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate logistics and ensure material availability will be critical to project success.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the timely delivery of materials in line with project schedules.

Track purchase orders, supplier commitments and inbound deliveries.

Manage receiving processes, including inspection and verification of delivered goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation activities.

Monitor stock levels and forecast future material requirements.

Coordinate storage, handling and internal distribution of materials across site.

Manage material issue processes and track allocation and usage.

Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, shortages or non-conformance issues.

Prepare inventory, stock usage and supply risk reports for stakeholders.

Work closely with procurement, logistics providers, site supervisors, engineers and contractors to support project objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential

Extensive experience in materials coordination, inventory control, logistics or supply chain roles.

Previous experience working within mining, construction, manufacturing or other site-based environments.

Strong understanding of inventory management systems and material control processes.

Current Forklift Licence.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Strong organisational and planning capabilities.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable

Qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business.

Experience using ERP systems such as Pronto, Oracle or similar.
