As the Environment & Release Manager, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of non-production environments and manage end-to-end release processes across a major transformation program. Working closely with delivery, engineering, and vendor teams, you'll ensure environments remain stable, secure, and aligned to project milestones while driving continuous improvement and automation.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage development, test, UAT, staging, and pre-production environments across enterprise platforms.
• Ensure environment stability, security, availability, and compliance.
• Coordinate provisioning, refreshes, configuration management, and test data activities.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and usage policies.
• Monitor environment performance and drive optimisation initiatives.
• Lead resolution of environment-related incidents and root cause analysis.
• Own end-to-end release planning, coordination, deployment, and governance.
• Manage release schedules, dependencies, and readiness activities.
• Facilitate go/no-go decisions, deployments, and post-release reviews.
• Champion DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and operational efficiency.

What you bring

You are an experienced technology leader with a strong background managing enterprise environments and releases across both cloud and legacy platforms. You bring a collaborative leadership style, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for driving delivery excellence within complex transformation programmes.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in Environment Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or similar leadership roles.
• Strong experience with .NET, Azure, and enterprise application delivery.
• Experience with Dynamics 365/CRM and Finance & Operations environments.
• Knowledge of both cloud and legacy infrastructure environments.
• Track record leading teams in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Azure governance.
• Experience working within complex, regulated enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Background in software engineering, solution architecture, or related technical disciplines.
• Confidence liaising with senior stakeholders
• Experience working with geographically disperse teams is desirable
