Maintenance Officer
We're looking for a proactive and community-minded Maintenance Officer to support the presentation, safety and ongoing maintenance of three vibrant Retirement Living communities across Pendle Hill, Forestville and Castle Cove. Working closely with residents, village teams and the Property Services Manager, you'll play an important role in creating welcoming communities that residents are proud to call home

Your Contribution
- Maintain the presentation, safety and functionality of buildings, pathways, communal facilities, outdoor spaces and surrounding grounds across three Retirement Living communities
- Perform general repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance activities to ensure communities remain attractive, safe and well maintained.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and property issues, ensuring Residents receive friendly, professional and responsive service.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
- Build strong and respectful relationships with Residents, community teams, contractors and service providers.
- Support compliance activities, property inspections, safety checks and maintenance record management.
- Use your tech skills to manage work orders, reporting and maintenance schedules.
- Bring a warm, collaborative and solutions-focused approach to every interaction.
The Essentials
- Trade qualifications or hands-on experience in property, facilities or maintenance services.
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements and a strong safety mindset
- A strong customer service focus and the ability to communicate respectfully with older people.
- Be approachable, empathetic, honest, patient and kind with a sense of humour
- Take pride in your work while being adaptable (your workplace is someone's home)
- Confidence using mobile devices, apps and Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
- Current Drivers Licence
- A recent National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care or willingness to acquire
