An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join a large, commercially driven organisation with a broad market presence and a complex, multi-entity structure.

The role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities across multiple entities while reviewing the work of the wider team and ensuring key deadlines and KPIs are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing AR ledgers across multiple entities

Leading, mentoring and reviewing the work of a small AR team

Reconciling bank statements and matching deposits to the accounting system

Investigating and resolving discrepancies between banked amounts and system reports

Maintaining debtor balances within agreed KPI levels

Preparing accurate ad hoc invoices as required

Responding to receivables queries from internal and external stakeholders

Supporting month-end close, including journals and reconciliations

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies across the AR function

Working closely with stakeholders across a large and commercially focused organisation

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

Strong hands on accounts receivable and reconciliations experience

Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising a small team

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Strong verbal and written communication skills

A proactive, organised and inquisitive approach to problem solving

The confidence to take ownership and drive work through to completion

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Experience working with ERP systems

Experience within a large, multi-entity or multi-divisional AR environment will be highly regarded
