The Claims Officer role is a client-focused and detail-oriented role responsible for managing insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement. The role ensures claims are assessed, investigated, and resolved efficiently while delivering exceptional client and stakeholder service and maintaining compliance with policy requirements and industry standards.
This role works closely with brokers, strata managers, insurers, clients, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely claim outcomes, resolve enquiries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of claims processes and service delivery.
Salary Range: $75,000

Previous experience in insurance claims management, preferably within property or strata insurance.
Key responsibilities for success:
Manage insurance claims from initial lodgement through to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Monitor and maintain the claims inbox, ensuring all enquiries, correspondence, and claim-related documentation are actioned promptly.
Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication to claimants and stakeholders regarding claim progress, outcomes, and requirements.
Review and analyse claims data to identify trends, potential risks, and indicators of fraudulent activity, escalating concerns where appropriate.
Resolve customer complaints, disputes, and escalations professionally and within established service standards.
This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role is driven by excellent communication, analytical thinking, client focus, and a collaborative approach to achieving positive claims outcomes.
