IMMEDIATE - Senior Contract Administrator - 6 months - $800 -930 per day excluding Super - NSW Government Project

• Job Title: Senior Contract Administrator
• Location: North Sydney (3 days a MUST)
• End Date: 6 months, with possibility to extend
• Pay Rate to candidate: $800 -930 per day excluding Super
• Hours of work: 8 max hrs a day, 40 hrs per week

Primary purpose of the role

• The Senior Contracts Administrator develops, implements and refines consistent contract administration practices
• Strategic and transactional aspects of contract development and management.
• The role supports teams while optimising supplier performance and achieving value for money commercial outcomes.

Key accountabilities

• Lead the development and implementation of robust, consistent contract management practices and frameworks to ensure compliance, efficiency, and value-for-money outcomes.
• Provide accurate, expert, and timely advice, insights, and reports on strategic and operational contract matters, including trends, forecasts, and risks, with clear recommendations for action.
• Manage the assessment of variations and claims, and guide resolution strategies of complex contractual and commercial issues in consultation with project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Prepare and review contractual letters and notices, ensuring they clearly address complex issues
• Reduce commercial risk, and meet all contractual requirements.
• Contribute to commercial engagements, including
• Review of standard tender documents, and participate in
  tender evaluations and supplier negotiations, ensuring executed contracts are accurate and support delivery of expected outcomes.
• Monitor contract performance and drive performance improvements, while managing escalations and
  engaging with senior stakeholders
