About the role

Rostrevor Group is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join our team in Epping, VIC. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our mining site, ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of materials. What you'll be doing

Operate dump trucks in a safe and responsible manner to transport various materials across the mining site

Conduct pre-operational checks and maintain the truck in good working condition

Follow all established safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues

Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and other team members to coordinate activities

Adhere to production targets and maintain a high level of productivity

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Dump Truck Operator in a mining or construction environment

Proficient in the operation of large-scale dump trucks and associated equipment

Strong safety awareness and a commitment to upholding high safety standards

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain the necessary mining certifications
