AEXPHL Group operates two specialist mortgage broking brands: Aussie Expat Home Loans, the lender-of-choice for Australian expats and Urbane Finance, a premium mortgage concierge serving high-net-worth clients domestically. We settle high volume, and often complex, high-value lending at pace — and our settlements function is where the client experience is won or lost.

The Role

You'll own the journey from formal approval through to settlement — and beyond. Working alongside our brokers, deal team and offshore support staff, you'll be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks in the final, most critical stage of every loan.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Managing a pipeline of approved loans through to settlement across multiple lenders

• Reviewing and coordinating loan documents, including certification and witnessing requirements

• Liaising with lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and clients to book and confirm settlements via PEXA

• Coordinating discharges, refinances and simultaneous settlements

• Proactively communicating with clients and brokers on settlement status, shortfalls and funding requirements

• Managing post-settlement follow-up: confirmation letters, offset/account setup checks and handover to our customer support team

• Escalating and resolving settlement delays before they become problems

About You

• 2+ years' experience in mortgage settlements — with a broker or lender;

• Working knowledge of lender processes, loan documentation and PEXA settlement workflows

• Forensic attention to detail — you catch the missing signature before the lender does

• Confident communicator who can keep clients calm and lenders accountable

• Comfortable working with offshore team members and modern systems (ApplyOnline, CRM platforms, SharePoint, e-signing)

• Experience with expat or non-resident lending is a strong plus, not a requirement
