About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Centre Director, you'll lead your own learning environment while helping establish the culture, routines and educational excellence of our newest Early Learning Centre.

You'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for children, families and educators from the very beginning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the daily operations of your room

Delivering engaging educational programs aligned with EYLF

Mentoring and supporting educators

Building strong relationships with children and families

Completing observations and learning documentation

Maintaining compliance with NQF, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards

Supporting Assessment & Rating readiness

Creating safe, inclusive learning environments

Helping establish a positive team culture within a brand-new service

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Previous Room Leader or Lead Educator experience

Current Working With Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis

Child Protection Training

National Child Safety Training

Highly regarded:

Strong knowledge of NQF and NQS

Assessment & Rating experience

Experience mentoring educators

Excellent communication skills

Strong documentation and organisational skills

Most importantly, you're a passionate leader who enjoys supporting others, building meaningful relationships with families and creating exceptional learning environments where children can thrive.
