Job Summary:

We are currently looking for Associate Lecturer(s) to teach in the MA in Education (TESOL) programme at MDIS Tashkent. This position would be for MDIS’ overseas campus in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Associate Lecturer(s) will be appointed on a contract basis to cater to short-term teaching requirements. Once the recruitment process has concluded, the official appointment will take place one (1) to two (2) months prior to the commencement of classes, or subject to the availability of teaching classes.

We are seeking a dedicated Educator with an MA in Education to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a second language and a passion for educational development. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress.

Subject Areas required:

• Approaches in English Language Learning
• Combining Professional and Academic Practice
• Educational Research: Practice and Planning
• Using the Literature to Inform Educational Research
• MA Education Dissertation

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver effective lessons tailored to student needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to enhance learning materials.
• Participate in professional development and training sessions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities.

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree and above, in a relevant discipline from a recognised educational institution, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Pedagogy/teaching certificate holders will be advantageous
• Excellent command of English, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player who is able to work with faculty members and administrative staff
• Keen interest in nurturing students in their learning journey.
