About the role
Maake Creative is seeking a talented Midweight to Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team.. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in bringing our clients' visions to life through compelling visual design. As a Graphic Designer, you will be at the heart of our creative process, crafting innovative and impactful visual solutions that resonate with audiences and drive business results. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries, collaborating with a dynamic team of creatives and working closely with clients to deliver exceptional design outcomes.
This is a genuinely diverse design role. You'll move between:
• Website design
• Social content
• Document and template setup
• Branding and brand systems
• Print collateral
• Event design
• Brand activation design
Our client list runs from Lion and Aperol to Penfolds, Mastercard, Campari and Furphy, alongside major sporting events. One month you're building a brand from the ground up, the next you're designing an activation that thousands of people will physically walk through.
What we're after:
• 4+ years in an agency or studio environment
• A portfolio that shows genuine craft, typography, layout, and ideas that hold up
• Real range: equally at home in digital and in print, and strong in both
• Confident across Adobe Creative Suite
• Able to take work through to production-ready artwork
• Someone who can own a brief end to end, concept through to finished art
• Self-directed enough to do their best work remotely
• Sketchup and/or 3D experience is a real advantage
